Demonstration of the Initial IMPReSS Prototype is being prepared

The first prototype of the IMPReSS System Development Platform (SDP) will be demonstrated to the EC in connection with the IMPReSS projectís first year review at the end of February 2015.

The demonstration will focus on key aspects of the IMPReSS Systems Development Platform and on the unique end-user application that has been developed for the Teatro Amazonas pilot case.

The SDP prototype will demonstrate several important components of the platform, including the Integrated Development Environment (IDE) Framework for Model-driven development, communication management on an arm gateway, the context engine and mixed-criticality applications.

In addition, the functions and user-interface of the end-user application will be presented and simulations of energy consumption measurements in selected areas of the Teatro Amazonas opera house will be demonstrated.
The public display that allows visitors to the Teatro Amazonas to view the energy consumption and energy savings will also be presented at the review.

The demonstrations will showcase the initial results of the work in the project; these results will be further developed and refined in the second period of the project.
